Allan Aaron
Allan Aaron became a Director of the Company in January 2003. He is co-founder and general partner at Technology Venture Partners (TVP), an Australia headquartered venture capital firm. Mr. Aaron serves on the boards of several TVP investee companies, including Cap-XX, Inter-Touch, Zoom, and Platypus Technologies. Prior to founding TVP in 1997, Allan was an executive of the Australian Technology Group — an early stage technology investment firm and was previously an Associate of McKinsey and Company, and a Director of Ernst & Young’s Technology Consulting Practice.  Mr. Aaron commenced his career as an aerospace engineer and spent several years with IBM in systems engineering and marketing roles.
John H. Allen
John Allen is Chief Financial Officer of Cohu, Inc., a manufacturer of semiconductor test handling equipment and other electronic products and systems based in San Diego, California. He joined Peregrine’s Board of Directors in June 2006 and serves as the Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Board. Prior to joining Cohu, Mr. Allen worked for 20 years with Ernst & Young LLP where he served as a Partner within the firm’s technology practice in E&Y’s San Diego, Los Angeles and San Jose offices. John holds a B.A. in Business Administration and an MBA from Michigan State University.
Paul D’Addario
Mr. D’Addario, a former member of the Media/Telecom Group of CSFB, has over fifteen years of experience in the communications, media and entertainment financing and advisory business, and has important relationships with industry leaders in those fields. Mr. D’Addario was a Managing Director at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corp. (DLJ), prior to CSFB’s acquisition of DLJ. At DLJ, he was a member of the investment committee of the DLJ New Economy Fund and managed a number of high-profile financings and M&A deals for major media, technology and entertainment companies including: Crown Media Holdings, Inc., IMAX Corp., Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Inc., and Turner Broadcasting.
Mr. D’Addario has developed relationships with private media, technology, and entertainment companies and maintains strong relationships with other major venture firms, investment banks, and accounting and law firms. Mr. D’Addario is a board observer for Zinio Systems. Prior to DLJ, Mr. D’Addario was in the M&A Group of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Mr. D’Addario received a B.A. from Boston College, a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, and a J.D. from Villanova Law School.
Jeffrey Belk
Jeffrey Belk joined Peregrine’s Board of Directors in January 2008 after a 14 year career at Qualcomm Incorporated in several key roles, including senior vice president of strategy and market development, focused on examining changes in the wireless ecosystem and formulating approaches to help accelerate mobile broadband adoption and growth. In previous Qualcomm positions, Belk was senior vice president, global marketing, leading all facets of the company’s corporate communications worldwide; SVP & GM of Eudora email products; and VP, marketing of Qualcomm Consumer Products, where he initiated the company’s global branding and communications efforts. Prior to Qualcomm, Belk spent ten years in the early growth of the PC industry, primarily with Proxima Corporation where he held several significant distribution, product management, and international roles, and was with the Company through its IPO in the early 90s. Belk is currently a principal in ICT168 Capital, LLC, a newly formed entity focused on developing and guiding global growth opportunities in the Information and Communication Technology market. He is known globally as a commentator and writer on wireless, mobile broadband, and technology evolution.
James S. Cable, Ph.D.
James S. Cable, Ph.D., serves as Peregrine’s Chief Executive Officer, and has held positions as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Technology and Engineering since joining Peregrine in 1996. Dr. Cable has over 25 years of experience in semiconductor research, development and production, including Technology and Manufacturing Operations management for Hughes Microelectronics Center and Hughes Technology Center; and Technology Integration management at TRW. Dr. Cable received his B.S. from the University of California at Riverside and his Ph.D. from UCLA.  
Tim Downing
Tim Downing, a Managing Director of the Australasian Media & Communications Fund, has served as a Director of Peregrine since July 2003.  Since 1981 he has worked within the Finance Industry, principally in the area of Investment Banking and Private Equity.  Before his appointment as Managing Director of AMCF, Mr. Downing was a principal and Director of Sphere Capital, Manager of the Fulcrum Group of private equity funds.  He is a director and shareholder of a number of private and public companies including Austar United Communications Limited, Telecasters Australia Limited (Chairman), the Becker Group, and a number of AMCF's investees.
Craig Ensley
Craig H. Ensley joined Peregrine in 2006 as Peregrine’s President and Chief Operating Officer with 30 years of broad experience in the semiconductor and systems technology industries, spanning venture capital start-ups to multi-hundred-million dollar public corporations including Cirrus Logic and Crystal Semiconductor. Mr. Ensley brings to Peregrine a strong vision for disruptive semiconductor technology, a deep strategic and product planning background and extensive knowledge in executing high-growth businesses. He has an M.B.A. from Stanford University and B.S. degrees in both Applied Physics and Economics from UCSD.
Gary Monetti
Gary Monetti joined Peregrine's Board of Directors in May 2005. Mr. Monetti brings a wealth of experience to Peregrine's Board from his 22-year career at Sawtek, one of the world's leading manufacturers of RF SAW filters. Mr. Monetti held a variety of management positions with Sawtek, including Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Vice President of Engineering, Chief Operating Officer, and President & CEO. After the acquisition of Sawtek by TriQuint.Semiconductor in 2001, Mr. Monetti continued to serve until 2004 in the Office of the President of the Sawtek Division. Mr. Monetti works as an industry consultant and advisor to various private venture businesses.
Bob Pavey
Mr. Pavey, based in Cleveland, OH and Menlo Park, CA, joined Morgenthaler in 1969 and has been a Partner since 1971. From 1990 to 1992, he served as volunteer President and then Chairman of the National Venture Capital Association, and in 2005 received the NVCA’s Outstanding Service Award. His major focus is on semiconductors, materials, and devices. He sits on the Board of Directors of Building B, CLK Design Automation, Five Star Technologies, Intelleflex, Lamina Ceramics, Paratek Microwave, Peregrine Semiconductor, Renaissance Wireless, and Xoomsys, Inc. During his tenure, Mr. Pavey has been involved in many of the firm’s successful investments: Apple Computer, Applied Intelligent Systems (acquired by Electro Scientific), Aptis Communications (acquired by Nortel Networks), Atria Software (acquired by Rational Software), Endwave, Gliatech, Illustra Information Technologies (acquired by Informix), Intrinsa (acquired by Microsoft), New Focus, Synernetics (acquired by 3Com), and Synopsys. From 1967 until 1969, Mr. Pavey held several management positions with Foseco, Inc. He received a B.S. in Physics from The College of William & Mary in 1964, an M.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Columbia University in 1965 (awarded in 1966), and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1967.
Elton B. Sherwin
Elton Sherwin is Senior Managing Director of Ridgewood Capital and founder of Ridgewood’s Palo Alto office in 1999. He has served as a director of Peregrine since October 2004. Prior to joining Ridgewood Capital, Mr. Sherwin established the West Coast office of Motorola Ventures. Previously, he spent twenty years at IBM and Motorola where his products won numerous awards, including the Best New Technology award at COMDEX. In 1994 Discover Magazine selected him as Software Innovator of the Year. Mr. Sherwin holds eight U.S. patents and is the author of The Silicon Valley Way. He currently serves on the Board of Sycon and is a Board observer at Teseda.
